SQT want to assure its clients and partners that we are fully supportive of and complying with the national efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and wellbeing of our country. We are continuously monitoring developments in relation to COVID-19 and engaging with our partners and colleagues in government departments and industry to keep up to date on all precautionary measures.
Due to the restrictions imposed on Friday 27th March, SQT has successfully implemented plans to enable all of its Administration and Tutor teams to work from home. With effect from 31st March all staff will work remotely. Please rest assured that we are still operating via email and the normal telephone line and we will continue to support our clients and learners during this time.
In line with Government recommendations, all SQT In-House and Public face to face training programmes over the coming weeks have been suspended until further notice. We are working closely with all of our clients to reschedule dates to Virtual Training in the coming weeks. We have already successfully launched our Virtual Classroom for many courses and have received fantastic feedback so far. SQT Training and our expert Tutor panel remain “open for business” and will continue to work with you to adapt your training needs to help you to develop your skills and prepare for recovery. We are in this together.
If you are a current learner and your assessment falls due over the coming weeks, please be reassured that you will not be disadvantaged by the current situation. The impact of the physical office closure and remote working situation means that we will be unable to accept assessments via the post until the office reopens. If at all possible we would ask that you email your assessment to our Accrediation Manager, Julie O’Connell at firstname.lastname@example.org by your deadline if possible. If this is not possible and/or you cannot meet the deadline, please revert by email to Julie at email@example.com and we will accommodate alternative arrangements.
We have been notified by NEBOSH that they have made the decision to postpone the June Certificate standard date examinations and the July Diploma examinations. Therefore your scheduled examinations for these dates have been postponed. A re-arranged date for these examinations will be communicated by NEBOSH in due course. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive this information
